• Original mixed media painting on stretched canvas created using acrylic paint, antique paper material and my original photography of waves on the shore of Falmouth, MA.

• This piece features an original poem written by me. The full text reads:
  “Along the sea and in the wind
  One silent shimmering wave begins
  aloft the surface moving bring
  below a calm as dark as night
  Reaching, rowing, growing, glowing
  offshore silence, ebbing flow
  an ebb-tide dance lean and long
  a seamless gleaming ocean song
  A beginning and ending beyond the beyond”

• Some of the paper material used in this piece include: antique New England nautical charts, tidal fluctuation graphs, handwritten ships’ logs, ledgers, postcards, stamps and fishing guides.

• Sealed with an archival UV-protectant varnish, signed on the back and ready to hang.
