Do you have a space or project that deserves a special piece of artwork? Since 2011 I have worked with local and international clients to create one-of-a-kind, customized artwork using relevant historical materials, experimental paint techniques and location-specific photographs. My clients include The Nielsen Company for Madison Square Garden, Boston Beer Company, the Boston Harbor Hotel, Norwest Equity Partners, The Jordan Lofts, Hotel Commonwealth and many private collections locally and internationally.
The custom artwork process is a lot of fun! We'll chat about the specific needs of your space or project (including a site visit if possible), your personal story, and what you'd like to see included in your painting. I’ll travel to photograph particular locations or imagery, collect historic paper material from my many antique sources, and seek out personalized details to weave throughout the many textured layers of your painting. We'll go through a few rounds of revision with a digital sketch before starting the actual work on canvas, so you can be assured that your new artwork will exceed your expectations. You'll receive photo updates as your painting progresses, and you can always visit my Boston studio to see it in person.
Depending on size and complexity, custom paintings generally take 8-12 weeks to complete and start at $3.25 per square inch. A 50% deposit is required to begin work and the remainder is due at delivery. Projects that require travel outside of the Boston metro area or hard-to-find historic material may involve an extra fee. Professional installation into is available upon request.
